Meet the Team

Ian is an Entrepreneur and experienced C-Suite executive who served as COO and CFO in Switzerland, the Middle East, and Asia. He built up his knowledge in world-leading Swiss banks Credit Suisse and Julius Baer.

Ian is an International Leader with more than 20 years of experience in Wealth Management and Private Banking, across business development, client servicing, team management and project implementation. Ian has also a deep understanding of risk management in Private Banking. Throughout his career, he has built up a fantastic network of contacts amongst Bankers across the globe.

Ee Shen is co-founder of the Sea Capital Group, Managing Director of Investment Banking at Sea Capital and is a Singapore citizen residing in Singapore. Ee Shen has more than 10 years of experience in the shipping, offshore, oil & gas industries in the areas of investment banking and ship-owning. Before joining Sea Capital, he was Managing Director & Partner of Pareto Securities Asia, Director of RS Platou Markets (Asia) and Director of the Kontiki Shipping group. Ee Shen received his B.Engg in Marine Engineering (1st class Honours) from the University of Newcastle-upon-Tyne, UK.

Cedric has been in Asia for 15 years. He has built up a vast experience and in-depth knowledge in wealth and asset management from his time at UBS, Bank Pictet & Cie, and Bank of Singapore. He has negotiated partnerships and distributed investment opportunities amongst his global network of clients across Europe and Asia. He developed particular expertise in managing HNWI as a family office. He also successfully set up funds in various jurisdictions.

Through his experience, Cedric has an outstanding understanding of the regulatory environment in Singapore. He was instrumental in attaining a couple of CMS licenses for newly set up Singapore asset managers.

Michael started his career in the financial markets in March 1980, starting as an international security analyst, following closely the business activities of 20 Japanese listed companies and creating investor reports for international investors abroad. He then moved to Hong Kong to Nomura International to promote Japanese equities in Hong Kong and Thailand.

In 1986, Michael moved back to Japan and worked for Morgan Stanley (institutional clients) and Merrill Lynch, where he was Head of US Equity and was in charge of building sales teams in London, New York and Tokyo for institutional clients. Under his management, the teams produced more than US$50 million in revenue a year.

ChinYee is an experienced banker with 17 years of experience in various investment banks.

Max is a vastly equipped & well-trained Electrical Engineer with more than 30 years of recognised experience in the areas of Hospitality, Retail, Real Estate, PE Fund Management, M&A & Oil-Gas regionally in Asia.
