Alok is a seasoned financial markets professional with nearly three decades of experience in Asian markets, specializing in FX, rates, structured credit, and exotic derivatives. He has held leadership positions at top-tier financial institutions, including Nomura, Lehman Brothers, and J.P. Morgan, demonstrating a strong track record in business expansion, risk management, and client franchise development. Most recently, Alok served as Head of Global Markets, Asia ex-Japan at Nomura Singapore, overseeing a diverse portfolio spanning FX, Rates, Credit, and Equities businesses. He played a pivotal role in expanding Nomura's footprint across key Asian markets while working closely with asset managers, insurance companies, and hedge funds throughout the region.

After an extensive career in the financial markets on the sell side, Alok is keen to leverage his experience on the buy side. His deep understanding of Asian financial markets, risk management, and regulatory frameworks will further strengthen and help grow the BRC/QIO team
