Independent Advisor to the Board of Directors
During his career as a sales representative, Kaz has developed a strong and wide range of business networks with many institutional and UHNW investors in Japan. He has been in the sales & RM role to Pension Funds and has maintained good relationships with pension consultants and the media since 1997. He pursues a strategic approach to local financial institutions and maintains a relationship with advanced endowments and Japan Association of Banks. He regularly visits the product planning department as well as the securities investment department of 105 regional banks.
He started his business career at Nikko Securities in 1985 then joined Barclays Trust and Banking in 1989, Credit Suisse Trust and Banking in December 1992, and Japan Bankers Trust Company in 1997. He joined ABN AMRO Asset Management Japan in 1999 as Senior Account Manager of Pension Fund Sales and Institutional & Retail Business. He was a sales Vice President in Asset Servicing at The Bank of New York Mellon Securities from 2008 to 2012 and was later appointed Senior Vice President, Head of Sales at Japan Asia Asset Management from 2014 to 2017. He then became Sales Strategist, Business Development at eVestment LLC in Hong Kong. Kaz has been advising as a member of the Board of Directors of BRC since April 2021.

Kaz has an MBA in 'Pension Management and Actuaries' at the School of Commerce a and Bachelor of Economics at the college of Political Economics at Waseda University.
